Summer road trips in Michigan are one of life’s joys.

Our recent West Michigan restaurant and brewery tour began at Dark Horse Brewing in Marshall and continued in Kalamazoo. We had never been to Bell’s Brewing and were curious to check out their newly-remodeled Eccentric Café.

We had plans to try all kinds of new beers, but in the 90-degree heat, Oberon won. We enjoyed a few pints of the venerable summer beer with the Bacon Lollipops appetizer, the perfect snack to fuel our evening.

Next time we’re in Kalamazoo, we’ll be sure to head back to Eccentric Café.
