There are plenty of great burgers in metro Detroit, enough to keep beef-and-bun lovers busy for quite a while. Recently, we enjoyed a few burgers in Macomb County that we haven’t tried before, prompting us to compile a list of our favorites in the area.
From Sterling Heights to Roseville, here are five places to get your burger fix in Macomb County.
Achatz Burgers (Macomb)
Surrounded by a sea of chain restaurants on Hall Road, Achatz Burgers holds down the local spirit with freshly made burgers featuring buns they bake themselves. If delicious burgers weren’t enough, their fries are available with a variety of seasonings that’ll make your mouth water. Try the Michigan Chews & Brews favorite: Rosemary Garlic.
Irish Craft (Sterling Heights)
Irish Craft in Sterling Heights is home to decadent burgers and seasoned fries that will put you in a food coma. Keep it simple with the Pub Burger topped with housemade pub sauce or explore a new world of burger possibilities with their limited edition French Onion Burger. They took the classic taste of French Onion Soup and reimagined it as an ooey, gooey burger.
Eclipse Burgers (Sterling Heights & Fraser)
Dwarf your burger craving with one of the 100% Angus Beef creations at Eclipse Burgers. From the modest Quarter Eclipse to the hefty Full Eclipse one-pound burger, there’s something for just about every level of appetite. To balance out your gluttonous burger experience, order one of their fruit smoothies.
Seeburger’s Cheeseburgers (Roseville)
Speaking of eclipses, the onion rings at Seeburger’s Cheeseburgers are so big, they can eclipse even the biggest appetites. Order The Big Clem, featuring two beef patties, cheese, lettuce, thousand island dressing, and a mammoth onion ring on top.
Bronx Burgers (Warren)
Located on Mound Road, Bronx Burgers has been serving freshly ground beef burgers to the masses for years. They offer an extensive list of burgers, but the stress of deciding what to order will pay off deliciously. Not sure what to stuff your face with? Give the Manhattan Burger a try. Muenster cheese, bacon, sautéed onions, and Russian dressing accompany a burger patty between two slices of buttery Texas toast.
