You don’t have to go back to the future to catch some tasty waves of 80’s nostalgia, you just need to cruise into Slice of the 80’s in Westland, Michigan. It’s an 80’s overload when you step inside this small takeout restaurant specializing in pizza, calzones, and cheese bread.

Slice of the 80’s celebrates the decade of decadence, while the restaurant itself turns a decade old in 2018. Totally tubular movie posters, album covers, stickers, and other 80’s memorabilia line the interior of the small dine-in area. Radical t-shirts and buttons are available for sale to help keep memories of boomboxes, big hair, and box office blockbusters alive.

Beyond the over-the-top retro vibe, Slice of the 80’s is committed to making food that tastes great. From the sauce down to the dough, their pizzas are all made from scratch. The Extreme Cheese Bread was bodacious with its double mozzarella, double cheddar, and double parmesan; we recommend it if you’re a cheese bread connoisseur like us. For a gnarly neon dessert, try their Cinnamon Bread drizzled with colorful icing.

Slice of the 80’s is located at 34747 Warren Rd, Westland, MI 48185.
