A healthy array of cuisine and an eclectic mix of old and new eateries make Clawson one of our favorite places to dine. Plenty of parking and a walkable downtown make this small metro Detroit city a desirable destination for everything from lunch and shopping to dinner and bar hopping.
Downtown Charlie’s

For an elevated twist on breakfast and lunch, be sure to check out Downtown Charlie’s in Clawson. This Chicken & Waffle photo says all you need to know!
Perry’s Pizza

In addition to hand-tossed round and Detroit-style deep dish pies, Perry’s Pizza cranks out some of our favorite cheese bread in the area.
Three Cats Café

From the owners of Leon & Lulu comes the Three Cats Café located inside the historic Clawson Theatre. Character and charm pour out of every inch of this eclectic eatery, making for one of the most unique dining experiences in the city. Enjoy soups, salads, sandwiches, and baked goods alongside coffee drinks and a full bar.
Clawson Steakhouse
A legend. A Clawson staple. Whatever you choose to call it, locals agree that the Clawson Steakhouse is the place to treat yourself to an epic cut of meat in a throwback setting.
Woodpile BBQ Shack
Get the meat sweats on Main Street at the excellent Woodpile BBQ Shack. Grab a takeout order of favorites like beef brisket and St. Louis spare ribs, or feed your face on their covered outdoor patio.
Noble Fish

Perhaps the most talked about restaurant on our list, Noble Fish receives rave reviews for their sushi. After decades serving fresh fish from the back of their cramped Japanese grocery store, a recently completed expansion allows patrons to dine in comfort while streamlining the takeout process.
Renshaw Lounge
Renshaw Lounge in Clawson was once a tiny dive bar, but now boasts expanded capacity including outdoor seating, plenty of TVs, and an extensive beer selection with a notable Michigan craft beer offering. Kick back with friends and order one of their delicious pizzas to pair with your pints.
House of Barbecue

The Jerk Chicken at House of Barbecue will knock your socks off.
The Hideout

The Hideout is a no-frills Clawson institution, but don’t think you can’t find some delicious eats. We swear by their Fish & Chips and homemade Chicken Pot Pie, available during fall and winter months.
