Northern Michigan beer lovers will take to the water and descend on five Traverse City breweries this August. Paddle for Pints, a Traverse City Ale Trail brewery pub crawl event, takes place August 16 and 17, 2013.

Beer enthusiasts and adventurers alike are invited to visit Traverse City mainstays like The Filling Station, Right Brain Brewery, Brewery Ferment, North Peak Brewing Company, and The Workshop Brewing Company. Participants can register to navigate anything from a stand-up paddle board to a canoe to a double kayak. With options like these, the breweries will get a run for their money in the “fun” category.

Tours are available Friday, August 16 or Saturday, August 17.  Each tour begins with check-in and lunch at 12:00 pm at The Filling Station, 642 Railroad Pl, Traverse City, Michigan.

Paddle for Pints tickets are $20 or $45 with delivered rental of a kayak, stand-up paddle board, or canoe.
