Detroit Fleat, metro Detroit’s first food truck park, brings food trucks, a full service bar, and plenty of indoor/outdoor seating to Ferndale. As fans of The Little Fleet in Traverse City, we were excited to check out the concept in our own backyard.

Can you beat a cold beer or cocktail on a patio in the summer? No, you can’t. Detroit Fleat boasts an expansive patio area for sipping drinks with friends, plus offers indoor seating.

The interior of Detroit Fleat is home to an expansive bar and plenty of tables, many of which can accommodate larger groups. Murals of iconic Detroit brands like Better Made, Faygo, and Stroh’s line the interior walls, adding pops of color to brighten the space.

Hungry? Delectabowl, Pita Post, Drifter Coffee, and The Mac Shack anchor the food truck lineup, while there’s space for other trucks to rotate. Not only is food available from the trucks parked outside, Detroit Fleat has their own menu, currently featuring sliders and tacos.
