If you like your bacon with extra bacon, plus a little more bacon, then the famous Tony’s I-75 in Birch Run has you covered. Their monument to meat, the BLT Sandwich, features a whopping one pound of crispy bacon that will make your head spin.

One does not simply bite into a sandwich with this much bacon. A strategy is needed to attack this mountain of meat candy. Divide and conquer — cutting the sandwich into manageable sections — was our course of action. Crispy bacon that fell off the sandwich served as a side dish, similar to an order of fries.

If you’re like most people, you’ll have leftover bacon to enjoy with your breakfast the next morning. Speaking of breakfast, Tony’s I-75 makes twelve egg omelettes and has a strict policy against half-orders!
