Supporting local businesses: it’s what we do!

Your friends at Michigan Chews & Brews would like to use this Pic of the Week post to emphasize the importance of supporting local restaurants, especially during their crucial first few months of business. It may not seem like you can make a difference, but every bar you belly up to and burger you bite into helps!

Speaking of burgers, City Burger opened in March on Van Dyke Ave, just south of 12 Mile Road, in Warren. Practicing what we preach, our stomachs implored us to support this new burger joint when the craving hit.

As you can see, you can get a solid burger at City Burger. The menu is simple — it’s easy to find something you’ll like — and there are plenty of seats in the clean, contemporary dining area. The open kitchen is a nice touch if you feel like drooling while watching your burger being made.
