Sunday Brunch is slowly becoming a “thing” for us. While we certainly don’t roll out of bed and venture out to stuff our faces with decadent dishes every Sunday, we find ourselves making it out more frequently than we used to.
When we heard via Instagram that Atwater in the Park in Grosse Pointe Park was launching Brunch on September 13, 2015, we decided to head to the east side to give it a try. We were met with a fairly straightforward menu of items like Spiced Johnny Cakes & Gravy, Buttermilk Pancakes, Huevos Rancheros, a Breakfast Burrito, and Corned Beef Hash, our Pic of the Week.
For a truly good Corned Beef Hash, the meat-to-potato ratio has to be on-point, which it was at Atwater in the Park. It was hearty, savory, and totally hit the spot on this beautiful Sunday morning. While we didn’t partake the night before, we imagine their Corned Beef Hash would work wonders on a hangover.
The Bloody Mary Bar was quite nice, too. Bloody Mary Bars are commonplace nowadays, so when a restaurant or bar offers one, it had better be on point. Theirs was!
Where should we Brunch next?
