The sushi game is strong at Red Ginger in Traverse City. Based on their glowing reputation, you probably know this already.

Our initial visit a few years ago found us enjoying Red Ginger’s Lobster Tempura Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll for lunch. Both of these rolls were outstanding. The vibe was low-key, making for a quiet lunch retreat.

This time around, we sampled the Red Dragon Roll and the Tuna Nigiri during their dinner hours. The sushi was excellent and the vibe during dinner was electric. We sipped cocktails at the bar and enjoyed our evening as tables buzzed around us.
