A rather notorious food holiday like National Cheeseburger Day gave us the inspiration to take a field trip to the Royal Oak Brewery on September 18. Fall temperatures were just right, allowing us to comfortably devour burgers under the sun on the brewery’s quaint back patio. We’ve been fans of their Fish & Chips for quite some time, but we really wondered why we didn’t have closer relationship with their burgers after raving over this cheesy behemoth, the Juicy Lucy. You’d typically find the cheese embedded in between the two burger patties, but it was everywhere, and it was glorious.
