We came, we saw, we chewed and brewed. What We’re Chewin’ is a rundown of what’s currently tickling our taste buds.
Beer flights are cool, but check out this Pizza Flight from Mitten Brewing Co. You get to choose six of their signature pies to sample.
National Cheeseburger Day
September 18, 2020 was National Cheeseburger Day. Do we really need an excuse to stuff ourselves with delicious meat and cheese on a bun? If this photo from our burger at Royal Oak Brewery doesn’t say it all, you can always read more about what we thought.
Speaking of Cheeseburgers…
Kudos to Noco Provisions in Grand Rapids for this beefy banger.
Hard seltzers are vying for more real estate on store shelves everywhere. We’ve tried our fare share of local seltzers, including Odd Side Spiced Apple. There’s plenty of cinnamon flavor, no sugar, and only 110 calories, helping prevent our fall sweaters from feeling tighter.
The Peppermint Bark and Ginger Snap hard seltzers from Traverse City’s MiddleCoast Brewing really got us in the Christmas spirit.
Vinny’s Brunch wowed with it’s brunch offering like the monstrous Waffle Club Sandwich.
The Breakfast Club
Speaking of brunch, we adore the Breakfast Club. Their new-ish location in Royal Oak was our last dining experience before the dine-in restriction that began on November 18.
Fun with Fries
Mr. Kabob Xpress is an offshoot of their original Berkley takeout location that opened over 15 years ago. The Xpress restaurants allow you to build your own customized Mediterranean bowls and wraps by choosing from an extensive array of ingredients. We recommend adding an order of Greek Fries when you visit.
