The Peterboro in Detroit has a very focused menu, but their Small Plates menu features plenty of mouthwatering options. From crispy Crab Rangoon to gluttonous Cheeseburger Egg Rolls, there are plenty of tasty options to pair with the Skeleton Key, one of our favorite Detroit cocktails.
One of the excellent offerings from The Peterboro is their Salt & Pepper Calamari. The freshness of the calamari shines through the light, deep fried crispiness. The seasoning is on point — we would hope so with “salt and pepper” in the name — with touches of pickled jalapeno that provide a little heat. This is easily one of the best calamari plates we’ve enjoyed on our adventures across Michigan.
