If you’ve been folllowing along with our food adventures across Michigan, you’ve probably noticed that sweets aren’t in our wheelhouse. An occasional dessert or a stop at the famous Cops & Doughnuts is the extent of our sweet indulgences.

Zoom ahead to National Donut Day, a day where fried, sugary creations reign supreme. We decided to partake in the food holiday festivities by stopping by Donut Bar + Coffee in Southfield.

Nostalgia ran through our veins as we decided on the Fruity Pebbles, Reese’s, and Animal Cracker donuts. A traditional Boston Cream joined the party, giving us four reasons for a trip back to this popular donut destination.
